Iterate the Personality

Make your agent yours.

On the IllegalAgents.ai Agent section after you've clicked into your agent and click edit, you'll be presented with a a screen that requires you to fill in parameters to define the personality of your Agent.

You can use the Agent Interview Process to have an agent modify your agent for you to make building it easier.

Just tell the interviewer what you want your agent to do, how you want them to look, and their name. It gets auto filled out for you:

Once you're happy with the results you can manually edit your agent's details to get it refined exactly how you want. Here is what each parameter does:

Autofill Button -- Attempts to automatically fill in the rest from a partially completed layout.

Name -- The name your Agent calls themself and responds to. It's also the name in the Agent Section

System Prompt -- Instructions to the LLM how to act and behave. Think of this as part of the first prompt you’d give to an LLM.

Bio -- The descriptive line that appears below the agent in the template section.

Knowledge -- This is information the agent believes to be true. This can help you add biases to the character that are immutable by third parties who might speak to your Agent.

Lore -- This backstory information helps to add dimensionality to your agent by giving them a story in how they became the person they are today. This can be helpful when Agents are being nostalgic, or helpful in determining how they make decisions that may not have right answers.

Framework -- This is the Agentic Framework that will be used to power your Agent. As we support more frameworks, you’ll have more choices here.

Model Provider -- This is the Large Language Model (LLM) Provider which powers the brains of your agent. Each service provider has pros and cons related to cost, intelligence, and how censored it might be.

Voice -- This allows you to pick a voice for your agent. You can try voices to hear samples, and then click the use button to apply them to your agent.

Don’t forget you can chat with your agent before you add any plugins by going to the agent chat in the corner of the screen:

There is also further customization based upon the framework's native client by clicking the unique domain link for your deployed agent.
